Roof Scupper
A roof scupper is an opening in the parapet wall or roof edge of a flat commercial roof that allows water to drain off the roof surface.
Scuppers are the primary drainage system for many flat commercial roofs in DFW, especially warehouses and older office buildings. When scuppers become clogged with debris, water ponds on the roof surface, adding weight stress and accelerating membrane deterioration.
